What is Taekwondo?
Taekwondo is a Korean Martial Art that emphasizes kicking versus punching. The meaning of Taekwondo is "Hand and Foot Method" and is the most complete form of kicking art. Taekwondo became very popular in the late sixties and it began as an olympic event in 1988. It is the most popular form of martial art in the United States. It is a very effective form of self-defense that is easier to learn than other styels.
Taekwondo is more than just a fighting style, it is a way of living. We teach respect, integrity and honor. Our goal is to refine attitude and self-control through discipline and positive reinforcment. We train our students to excell outside the Do Jang in their everyday life, so they can reap what they sow.

Classes average between 10-20 Students per class
A Written Program is followed by all instructors
All schools offer officail Kim's Karate sparring equipment and uniforms for student purchase
Private lessons available
Over 30 classes taught weekly, Monday through Saturdays, days and evenings
All classes are grouped by belt level and experience (Children and Adults can learn together in our family oriented classes)
Students take two 45 minute class sessions per week. (Beginning Students only)
Progression through each belt level takes from 27-35 lessons
