Kims Karate

Kendo is a Japanese art of fencing. The japanese character "Ken" or tsurgi means sword and "Do" or Michi translates to path or way, thus we get "Kendo" or "The way of the sword". Kendo is the art of Japanese samurai swordsmanship. Kendo, like other martial arts requires discipline and a dedication to training. A new student begins with learning the basics such as: etiquette (reigi), different postures and footwork, and how to properly swing a sword. Students progress through a series of skills preparing them to begin training with armor.
